Deborah Downs Basehore spent her formative years on the mission field in Brazil, which has given her a unique perspective on ministry. She is a prolific and insightful writer with a heart to relay the merciful compassion of Jesus Christ. Having served six years in the United States Air force as a linguist in Russian and Portuguese; Deborah currently enjoys her time with her family, studying, teaching, reading and writing from home in Colorado where she is an active part of “the Gathering Community” church plant in Aurora.

Josh Kelley is the Lead Pastor of The Gathering in Mount Vernon, Washington. Prior to that, he was an associate pastor at His Place Community Church in Burlington, Washington. After completing his BA in Biblical Studies, with a minor in Biblical Languages, at Life Pacific College he pursued further education at Trinity Western University. During which time he taught as an adjunct professor at Pacific Life Bible College.

Shalon McGaffin is Worship Arts Director at Kingsqay Churcha nd assistant director of the Institute of Music Ministry at Pacific Life Bible College both in the metro Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada. If her day includes a walk with her dog ‘Capo’, a “double tall soy latte” with friends, sushi or a piece of chocolate . . . she’s a very happy girl.

Matt Peterson is the pastor of MorningStar Fellowship in Winston-Salem, NC and the director of the zao – a humanitarian organization providing clean drinking water and hope in Africa. Matt and his wife, Debbie, have five sons: Josiah, Seth, Sam, John, and Andrew.
